Charles Barnes founded Peak Ten Construction in 2018 knowing that Colorado needed a general contractor who truly understood the needs of hotel operations and guest satisfaction. With over 15 years of experience as Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, Director of Engineering, and Regional Engineering Manager for Starwood, Marriott International, White Lodging, and Interstate Hotels, Charles built Peak Ten on a simple principle: construction should serve the client's business, not just erect walls. Today, with 75+ hotel projects completed across the Denver metro area and a growing portfolio in multi-family, residential, and government sectors, Peak Ten embodies the spirit of its namesake mountain -- reaching for the peak in every project.

Founded Peak Ten Construction in 2018 after more than 15 years in hotel operations. With 75+ hotel projects completed, Charles brings unmatched insight into how construction impacts daily operations. Former Regional Engineering Manager for Starwood and Marriott International.
Torrey Vytlacil
Owner / Head GC
Over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial construction. Torrey oversees $40M+ in projects annually and brings hands-on leadership to every build. Previously owned his own construction company before joining Peak Ten.
Doug Smith
Sr Project Manager
$1.5 billion in managed construction experience. IBC/IRC Class B certified and OSHA certified, Doug brings rigorous project controls to every engagement. He also serves as a board member of CNS Supply, a National Natural Disaster Relief Organization.
