A Complete Brand Transformation
Peak Ten Construction was selected to deliver a full-property conversion to Spark by Hilton -- one of Hilton's newest and fastest-growing hotel brands. The project required transforming every guest-facing surface, system, and amenity to meet Hilton's exacting brand standards while maintaining an aggressive 4-month schedule. The scope encompassed exterior facade work and signage, a complete lobby and registration redesign, corridor renovations across all floors, full guest room and bathroom upgrades, breakfast area modernization, fitness center updates, technology infrastructure including Hilton Digital Key and Connected Room systems, and comprehensive fire and life safety compliance. Peak Ten's deep hospitality experience -- born from CEO Charles Barnes' 15+ years in hotel operations with Starwood and Marriott International -- made this project a natural fit. The team understands PIP requirements, brand-standard compliance, and FF&E procurement at a level most general contractors simply cannot match.

The lobby transformation included the signature Spark by Hilton arrival wall, new retail solution, elevated coffee cart, entertainment zones, and a complete redesign of the registration area and breakfast serving space.

Signature "it only takes a spark" branded arrival wall with new tambour desk cladding, modern FF&E, and wood-look flooring throughout.
Lounge & Breakfast Area
Modernized guest lounge with Spark by Hilton furniture, new wallcovering, decorative lighting, and lambour panel "Good Morning" design.
Elevated Coffee Cart
Spark by Hilton branded coffee station replacing the existing millwork, with branded dispensers and condiment display.
Decorative Lighting
New coordinating decorative light fixtures throughout public areas, replacing outdated fixtures to match the Spark brand aesthetic.
Guest Rooms & Suites
Every guest room received the complete Spark by Hilton package: new carpet, wallcovering, FF&E, bathroom fixtures, 50-inch TVs, Hilton Connected Room technology, and Digital Key-enabled door locks.
King Guest Room
Blue accent wall, modern abstract artwork, new casegoods with Cubie power outlets, updated bedding, and Spark-branded lighting and fixtures.
Double Queen Room
Full room renovation including new carpet, wallcovering, window treatments, and complete FF&E replacement with Spark by Hilton furnishings.
Media & Entertainment
New 50-inch TV on Spark casegoods with integrated mini-fridge, desk area, and concealed cord management throughout.
Entry & Vanity Area
Updated entry with full-length mirror, wet bar with new countertop, closet cubbie unit replacing rod-and-shelf, and painted navy entry door.
Corridors & Building Systems
Beyond the guest-facing spaces, Peak Ten upgraded corridors, elevators, stairwells, back-of-house areas, and all building technology systems to meet Hilton's current standards.
Guest Corridors
New carpet, wallcovering, painted navy doors and frames, modern wall sconces, and white switch plates replacing outdated ivory throughout.
Guest Bathrooms
Complete bathroom renovation: new vanity, mirror, lighting, tub surrounds, sink, faucet, shower head, grab bars, and all toilet accessories.
Brand Identity
Spark by Hilton branded graphics, signage, and statement mural installed throughout, with a complete interior and exterior sign package by a Hilton-licensed vendor.

Exterior & Signage
Building exterior cleaned, repaired, and painted. New Spark by Hilton signage package, statement mural at entry, secondary entrance upgrades with Digital Key locks, porte cochere restoration, parking lot reseal and restripe, and updated exterior lighting to 1 foot-candle minimum.
Technology & Security
Hilton Connected Room Edge Controllers at all TVs, RFID locks with BLE Digital Key technology, Stay Connected guest internet, PEP property management system, 40+ HD channel FTG TV lineup, and comprehensive fire alarm and carbon monoxide detection upgrades.
Back of House
Dedicated employee break area with Hilton Heart of House graphics, laundry room upgrades including CO/smoke detectors and eye wash station, independent air supply for the computer/PBX room, and fire extinguisher placement per Hilton standards.
